Food justice is an important part of community justice. We take donations from local businesses and use them to fight hunger. Help our non profit connect with donors and with people in need.
We mobilize our teams of volunteers to make a real difference. Join us and see what can be accomplished when you get an impassioned team to focus on change. Helping the needy helps your community.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help connect the people providing services with the people who need help. Come connect with people in new ways. Volunteer at your local non profit today.
When a family is in dire straights a helping hand can make a world of difference. United States Poverty Project gathers new or gently used shoes and clothes and gives it directly to the people who need it. Helping the needy to uplift their status in life to become a positive, productive example to others, is the main focus of any non profit.
Working with other community programs and organizations United States Poverty Project offers emergency assistance to individuals and families who are experiencing a temporary financial crisis.
We work in the community to help change the paths of at risk youth. This includes indoor and outdoor activities, sports, music programs, workshops, educational opportunities and more.
Many children have been forced to stay at home and attend classes remotely. Parents had to consider education, social contact, and most importantly, food. "Is there anything for them to eat while I'm at work," was the question? This sudden and unplanned time away from school put a strain on many family's refrigerators.
When the food you buy doesn't last and you're out of money, who can you turn to? United States Poverty Project is committed to making sure children get enough to eat. Our Food is Life Program will feed children who are not getting proper nutrition and simply are not getting enough to eat.
Many parents make just a little over the income threshhold to qualify for free lunch programs. Yet they can't afford to give their children lunch money on a daily basis. No kid should sit in a school lunchroom and watch their classmates eat while they themselves are hungry. Help us put money on the books for children who will fall through the cracks this school year.
